Main responsibilities:
1. Supplier quality management for wafers and substrates.
2. Cultivate ZTTD and continuous improvement mindset of our suppliers.
3. Support and ensure supplier compliance to applicable customer, VDA6.3 & IATF requirements.
4. Act on supplied material feedback from IQC and production. Trigger supplier 8D and closely monitor 8D progress to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
5. Support procurement in supplier scouting, evaluation and qualification.
6. Support purchase specification creation and release by alignment with internal counterparts and supplier.
7. Setup qualification plan for new suppliers and supplier material changes.
8. Conduct regular supplier audits acc. to VDA6.3.
9. Monitor supplier performance and trigger improvement actions in case of unfavorable trends.
Job Requirements:
1. Degree or Master's Degree in Physics, Material Science, Chemistry or Microelectronics.
2. 3-5 years of working experience in Semiconductor or Electronic Industry in engineering or quality.
3. Knowledge of semiconductor materials (ideally Sapphire wafers).
4. Experience in auditing (VDA6.3) and managing suppliers.
5. Understanding of ISO9001 and IATF16949 requirements.
6. Knowledge of FMEA, 8D, MSA, and SPC.
7. Good interpersonal skills, collaborative, proactive quality mindset and able to work as a high performance team with all parties up to senior management level.
8. Able to work independently, team player, strategic thinking and advanced problem solving skills.
